Pool Specific Guidelines

If this is your first time at Headlands Primary we recommend reading our pool specific guidelines below, where we walk you through the location and facilities. Everything you need to know from what to bring with you to where to leave your shoes.
  • Outside shoes should be left in the rack provided
  • This pool is suitable for swimmers from 4 months up to 4 years old
  • We are not able to use the car park while the school is in session, only at weekends and after school hours.
  • Shower facilities are limited so we suggest showering at home.
  • Parents will need to bring a change mat to use before and after the lesson.
  • Please bring a large enough bag or 2 bags to contain your belongings. All belongings (including outdoor coats) must be placed into the bag and placed on a hook in your changing area, to prevent them getting wet.
  • No pushchairs to be bought inside the building under any circumstances.
  • All shoes will need to be placed in the rack. We suggest you wear slip on shoes for a quick exit. (Even if this is just from the car to the changing room and your winter boots stay in the car)
  • A staff member will direct you to your changing area. As you come out of the changing rooms onto poolside, please turn right and wait along the side wall until your lesson starts.
  • Only one parent to attend the swimming lesson with their child. If you need assistance please let us know prior to your lesson.
  • There will be no spectators on poolside.
  • There are NO nappy disposal facilities so please take all nappies home.
