About Fairfields

All our pools are carefully chosen for you to ensure you have an amazing time swimming with your baby. The pool temperature must be warm for your baby as it helps them to relax in the water. Babies under 6 months of age cannot fully regulate their body temperature and will get cold very quickly in a cool pool. Fairfields is a Hydrotherapy pool, this is the best pool for little babies, the water is 32°C to 34°C, perfect for your tiny baby.

Pool Specific Guidelines

If this is your first time at Fairfields we recommend reading our pool specific guidelines below, where we walk you through the location and facilities. Everything you need to know from what to bring with you to where to leave your shoes.
  • You will need to open the top and bottom handles of the door to the pool
  • Leave your shoes outside the pool
  • You will need a code to exit the school - it is on the wall as you leave
  • For all classes, please use the main front car park and entrance.
  • When you arrive, please press the bell button on the intercom, this will be answered by a member of our team. Please give your name and say that you are here for swimming with Aqualight. You will then be let in through the gates.
  • DO NOT park in the bus bays or you may be clamped.
  • Enter through the main front doors where you will be met by and Aqualight team member
  • Sign in at reception, turn right, then immediately left and follow the corridor. At the end, turn left again to the pool. The male and female changing rooms are clearly signed. Additional changing is available on poolside.
  • No food is to be taken into the corridor or changing area
  • Car seats must be left outside the changing rooms during the session and against the wall to prevent a trip hazard
  • We ask that only one parent attends the lesson with their child as there is limited spectator space.
  • Upon leaving, please wait at the yellow marked line at the exit gates and they will automatically open.

NEXT TERM:
Summer Term 2026

Classes run from Saturday 9 May 2026 to Friday 24 July 2026. You cannot book yet for this term. Enrolment will open a few weeks before the start of the term.
