Enrol your child with a £35 deposit. Termly fees vary depending on pool location and level but classes start from £12.89 per lesson.

A Structured Pathway from Beginners to Squad

At Aqualight, we support every swimmer’s journey from their first splashes to advanced technique development. Our Juniors programme is designed to provide a clear and structured pathway that builds confidence and skills at every stage.

For beginners aged 4+, classes start with parent-supported sessions, helping young swimmers develop water safety and foundational skills in a fun, nurturing environment. As they gain independence, they progress through a carefully structured series of classes, moving from basic water skills to strong stroke technique, stamina building, and advanced aquatic skills.

For those ready to refine their technique and take on new challenges, our Sharks and Squad classes provide a pathway to more advanced swimming, ensuring every child can continue to grow, develop, and achieve their full potential in the water.

Building on Confident Foundations With Skills-Focused Programmes

We transition swimmers from age-based groups to ability-based classes, ensuring each child progresses at their own pace with the right level of support and challenge.

For classes over 4 years, our skills-led progression begins with:
• 4+ Beginners – Stanley 1-3 (Parents are in the water to support learning)
• Stanley 4-5 (Parents are also in the water for these classes)

Once a child reaches an appropriate skill level and can swim 5 metres independently on their front and back, they can progress to independent classes.
Push and Glide

Focused Learning, Stronger Skills

As swimmers gain confidence and ability, they progress into independent classes, where they refine their techniques, build stamina, and develop greater independence in the water.

Independent classes are:
• Stanley 6 to Star (5m, 10m. and 15m classes)
• Goldfish 1-2 and 2-3
• Angelfish 1-2 and 2-3
• Sharks
• Squad
